The Windows Autoplay / Autorun feature
Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP has the feature to automatically launch a program when new media is inserted (for example: CD ROM).
When a CD is inserted in the CD-ROM-Drive, the system looks for the file "Autorun.inf." and launches the program specified in this file.

If this AUTORUN characteristic does not work correctly in your system, check the system settings, or execute the respective settings.
